Social Members

Eligibility is limited to any citizen of Lancaster County who is sponsored by a Class “A” Member in good standing.  Complete an Application (located on wall near ATM alcove in the Canteen) with a check for dues as listed on the application.   Annual membership (Jan-Dec) members must renew before December 31st of each year.

Applications are brought before the Class “A” Veteran members for approval at the monthly meeting.

AMVETS Post 19 Home Association meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00PM in the Banquet Hall.  All members of Post 19 (Class A Veterans, Ladies Auxiliary, Sons Squadron 19, AmVets Riders, and Social Members) are welcome and encouraged to attend the meetings.

Sons Squadron 19

Sons of AMVETS is a nationwide service organization comprised of male descendants of American veterans. As part of the AMVETS family we are united in service and dedicated to improve quality of life, advocate legislation for increased benefits and care, provide and support charitable assistance to veterans, their families, and community.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility for membership in the Sons of AMVETS shall be limited to all male descendants, grandsons, adopted sons and stepsons, fathers, husbands, widowers, and brothers of members of AMVETS and the deceased members of AMVETS, or the personnel who died and would have been eligible for membership in the parent organization, and are at least eighteen (18) years of age and is not eligible for membership in the parent organization. This is not to include in-laws of any type.

 

Sons Squadron 19 hold their monthly meetings on the 1st Sunday at 12 Noon in the Canteen.
All Sons Squadron 19 members are encouraged to attend.
